I am a designer based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Art History and Communications from New York University in 2013 and audited classes in Graphic Design and Website Development at Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2016 and 2017.

On a whim, the summer before my freshman year of college, I decided to venture to New York City for college instead of staying close to home as I had originally planned. Between immersing myself into a city and culture completely outside my comfort zone and entering the fine art world and fashion industry, I began developing the design side of myself.

After graduating from NYU, I began a full time internship with Rosie Assoulin, a luxury women’s fashion house that was swiftly gaining traction. During my time at Rosie Assoulin, I worked my way from intern to Production Coordinator to right hand to the Creative Director as the Development Coordinator. I had the privilege of working with and learning from some of the most talented designers, artisans, and pattern makers in New York. My main responsibility was managing the ready-to-wear collection development, as well as knitwear, jewelry, shoe, and accessory design. I also oversaw and assisted in the development of numerous special projects including hand-painting, tie-dying, and embellishing garments.

With these invaluable experiences in the creative process and development under my belt, I left my job and New York City in the spring of 2016 to pursue my own design career. I enrolled in graphic design and web design classes at Minneapolis College of Art and Design and took off running with a freelance business only a year later. My love for freelancing grew rapidly when I realized the rewarding feeling of helping bring another person’s vision for a new business, venture, or dream come to fruition.
